Is it really free?

Yes. On the free plan, PayNow goes straight from your customer into your own bank account — buyfood is not in the middle and takes nothing. No subscription, no setup fee, no contract. Cash is free too.

Then how do I know a customer paid?

Your own bank app pings you the moment PayNow money arrives — same notification you already get today. The order shows up on your dashboard with the exact amount and a reference number to match, and you tap “PayNow received”. Takes a second.

What does the 3% plan add?

Auto-confirm. Instead of you checking your bank and tapping each order, we confirm the payment for you and send it straight to your kitchen. Good for busy stalls that don't want to track money during a rush. You can switch it on or off anytime.

Do I need to buy any hardware?

No. Just a phone — Android, iPhone, anything with a browser. No printer needed either; we can mail you a poster.

How do I get paid?

On the free plan PayNow goes directly to your registered UEN or mobile. On the 3% plan it's processed and paid out to your linked bank account. Cash always stays in your hand.

Why no credit cards?

Card fees (3.4% + 50¢ per order) are brutal on hawker prices — on a $5 plate that's over a dollar. PayNow is far cheaper and instant, so we keep it simple: PayNow and cash only.

I run a kopitiam with many stalls. Can you help?

Yes. Each tenant gets their own menu and dashboard, and you see a roll-up across all stalls — on either plan. We'll come down and onboard all your tenants.
